Stephenville – Services for Jane Phillips, 95, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016 at Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville with Pastor Anthony Svajda officiating. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Jane was born in Memphis, Texas on November 8, 1921 to Claud and Lillie Harris. She married H.L. Phillips on January 18, 1946 in Stephenville, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1996.
She was a member of Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.
Jane was a lifelong volunteer for the American Red Cross. During World War II she worked at a bomb factory. She was also a stewardess for Delta Air Lines. In her spare time she loved doing crossword puzzles and playing golf.
Survivors include her son, Phil Phillips and wife, Kate of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Linda Rees and husband, Mike of Denton, Maryland; grandchildren, Leslie Ramsey, Amanda Phillips, Gannon Phillips, Dillion Phillips, and Thomas Rees; great-grandchildren, Kaydee Ramsey and Mikey Ramsey. Jane is also survived by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Lillie Harris; her husband, H.L. Phillips; sisters, Mollie Harris and Estelle Harris; and brother, Dwight Harris.
