Dublin – Services for Charles Koiner, 77, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Greens Creek Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas, with Rev. Ben McCleery officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Greens Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2016, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Charles was born in Krum, Texas, on April 26, 1939, to James Calvin and Eunice (Story) Koiner. He married Veronica Rawlins on June 8, 1963, in Duncanville, Texas.
He was a member of the Greens Creek Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Veronica Koiner of Dublin, Texas; daughter, Stacey Koiner of Dublin, Texas; sisters, Betty Prewett and husband, Alvin, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Doris O’Brien of Savoy, Texas, and Shirley Mullins and husband, Larry, of Morgan Mill, Texas; brothers, James Koiner of Plano, Texas, and Richard Koiner and wife, Louise, of Clarksville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Koiner.
