(December 27, 2016) — Brady Moore scored a combined 56 points as Dublin (11-4) dominated both its games on opening day of tournament action in Breckenridge Tuesday.
The Lions beat Jacksboro, 83-64, and Cisco, 84-64. They face Albany at 7:30 a.m. and host Breckenridge at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Moore scored 23 points against Jacksboro and 33 against Cisco, and a strong supporting cast helped him in both games. Rayce Jackson poured in 22 points to give the senior tandem a combined 45 against Jacksboro, while the Lions had three other double-digit scorers – Josh Hanes 11, Tim Teten 10 and Brayden Burleson 10 – against Cisco.
The Lions wasted no time taking a big lead over Jacksboro, outscoring the Tigers 31-14 in the first quarter. It took a little longer to gain substantial breathing room over Cisco, but it was 44-32 by halftime.
