(December 29, 2016) — After a game of immense offensive struggles that led to an upset loss on Wednesday, No. 10 Stephenville bounced back with a 54-32 rout of Christoval on day two of Whataburger Blue Division girls action Thursday.

The Honeybees return to action at 7 p.m. Thursday evening against No. 7 Abilene Wylie.

Stephenville was led in the easy victory by Jordan Carter with 10 points, Hailey Martin with nine on three 3-pointers and Payton Wall with eight. Madison Carter and Ebony Green each contributed seven, Jayci Morton six, Liz Pack four and Tesslie Baker three.

Stephenville dropped its tournament opener to Sanger, 37-31 in overtime, on Wednesdsay, and is competing in the consolation bracket.
