STEPHENVILLE (January 31, 2017) – The Flash has found information a local property owner sold a piece of property to San Antonio-based HEB Grocery last week.

According to public records, a general warranty deed signed on January 23 by property owners Rick and Paula Hale says land at 112 Park Drive in Stephenville, which is adjacent to HEB’s existing store on West Washington Street, has been acquired by the grocer. The property in question is more than an acre.
At the time of this report, calls made to HEB corporate offices had not been returned, and local officials contacted about the potential progress on the economic development front declined comment.
