Wanda Sue Bullard, born March 12, 1942 in Winert, Texas to parents Arlie and Maude (Jones) Howard, passed away in Hico, Texas on February 1, 2017 at age 74. Wanda was a career hairdresser (retired) who enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and playing games with her grandchildren. Wanda also treasured her church, cooking, gatherings, playing cards and 42 with friends. Wanda is proceeded in death by her parents, two sisters; Juanell Thackerson , Maudie Lou Thompson and one brother; Ray Edward “Son” Howard. Wanda is survived by husband Bobby Bullard of Hico, sons; Bobby Bullard Jr. of Hico, David Bullard wife Jo of Clairette, Darren Bullard and wife Dina of Granbury, daughters; Julie Branton and husband Ross of Euless, Missy Webb and husband Darren of Mansfield, Angie Meeks and husband Doug of Euless. Wand is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two sisters; Carol Jackson and husband Robert of Hamilton, Mary White of Glen Carbon, Illinois, sister in-law Bess Howard of Hico, and many treasured nieces, nephews and a host extended family members and friends.
Service Information
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on February 3 at the Harvest Hills Funeral Home in Hico. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, at the First United Methodist Church of Hico with burial to follow in the Hico Cemetery.
