Services for Marriah Romans, 23, preschool teacher, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2017, at Fairview Baptist Church, 1062 Fairview Road, Mineral Wells, Texas, with Pastor John Tunnell officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery, Morgan Mill, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas.
Marriah was born in Arlington, Texas, on March 12, 1993, to Donald Ray and Larrissa Lynn (Medders) Small. She married Brady Romans on December 14, 2013, in Denton, Texas.
She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Mineral Wells where she served as Children’s Minister and was also a preschool teacher in the Bright Beginnings preschool at Granbury United Methodist Church. Along with her husband, they were pursuing pastoral family ministry.
She served her Lord and Savior with all of her heart. Her love for children and family was boundless. Marriah touched the souls of all she met and was very loved.
Survivors include her husband, Brady Romans of Morgan Mill; her parents, Don and Larrissa Small of Morgan Mill; her brother, Seth Small and wife, Kayla, of Fort Worth; maternal grandparents, James and Judy Medders of Morgan Mill; nieces, Maycee, Josie, and Raleigh; nephews, Aaron and Ronin; and numerous friends and extended family members.
