(March 10, 2017) — Stephenville belted three home runs and Julia Flores tossed an abbreviated one hitter as the Honeybees routed Glen Rose, 13-0, in five innings Friday at McCleskey Field.

Nadine Arredondo was 2-for-2 with two home runs and 4 RBI and Bianka Combs also homered. But they weren’t the only Bees driving the ball all around the park in the rout.

Flores helped her own cause, going 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and two runs, and Samantha Luna was 2-for-2 with two runs. Leadoff batter Morgan DiCiccio was 2-for-3 with two runs, and Jessica Howell and Jessica Ebeling each added a hit.

A hit is something Glen Rose found hard to come by against Flores, with just the seven-hole hitter managing a single off the junior star. Flores struck out seven batters and issued one walk, navigating the five innings on just 60 total pitches.

Stephenville visits Venus at 7 p.m. Monday and welcomes Midlothian Heritage to Stephenville City Park at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
