Five Texans perform for NFL scouts on pro day

STEPHENVILLE (March 16, 2017) — Five former Tarleton football players worked out in front of NFL scouts for a Pro Day on Thursday.

Bubba Tandy, Dominique Martin, Trent Gow, Treston Ridge, and Roclan Drain participated in the NFL workouts that included the 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, shuttle run, and 3-cone drill.

The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams were in attendance to scout the Texans.

“The guys came out here and performed well, and did some good things,” said Assistant Coach Jonathan Beasley. “Scouts were overall impressed with these guys, and I wish them all the best with their future endeavors.”

The 2017 NFL draft takes place on Thursday, April 27 and runs through Saturday, April 29. Players not drafted are eligible to sign free agent contracts with any franchise.
