Tarleton’s Day of Giving set April 4; pay it forward for students

STEPHENVILLE (April 3, 2017) — Pay it forward for students in Tarleton State University’s second Day of Giving. The 24-hour online giving event begins at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow, April 4.

Day of Giving is part of a full week of activities dedicated to the university’s core value of service.

Gifts are tax deductible and can be designated for any Tarleton college, program or organization. There is no minimum donation.

Donations can be made online from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. or in person from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Barry B. Thompson Student Center on the Stephenville campus and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alumni House. Donations also can be dropped off at Tarleton’s outreach locations in Fort Worth, Midlothian and Waco.

In concert with this year’s Day of Giving, the Tarleton Alumni Association is offering a 19.17 percent discount on new or renewing memberships. The discount will support the Tarleton Alumni Scholarship fund and count toward total Day of Giving donations. To take advantage of the discount, call 254-968-9682 or email jevans@tarleton.edu.
