Wild sitting sixth at national championships

FINDLAY, OHIO – Casey Wild moved up two spots and is in sixth place after the second round of the NCAA Division II Championships at the Findlay Country Club.
Wild, who carded a 75 (+2) in the first round, shot a 77 (+5) on Thursday and has a score of 152 (+8) at the halfway mark. The No. 7-ranked player in the nation is six strokes off the lead, trailing Ann Parmerter from Dallas Baptist with a 146 (+2).

The Australia native recorded three birdies in the round. Wild had a birdie to start the day on the first hole, a par 5, on a par-4 No. 9 and on the 12th hole, a par 3. Wild also had eight pars. The junior shot +3 on the front nine and +2 on the back nine. Through two rounds, Wild had 21 pars and four birdies.

Wild will tee off in the third round on Friday, May 19 at 10:10 a.m. ET.
