FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside in Barbee Cemetery, 2:00 pm. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 with burial to follow.
Billie Jean Tidwell was born on March 19, 1925 in Alexander, Texas, the daughter of Zebulan T. Tidwell and Bettie (Ethetton) Tidwell, the last child of 12 children. She was united in marriage to Gordon D. Ross on June 29, 1947 in Eastland, Texas and to this union 3 children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 5, 1985.
Billie Jean is survived by her daughter – Karen Smith of Raymondville, Texas and her 2 sons – David Ross of Dublin, Texas and John Marc Ross of Durango, Colorado; her 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
She wsa a member of the Baptist Church and a homemaker.
