STEPHENVILLE (July 1, 2017) — A team of incoming ninth graders at Stephenville High School won the junior varsity division of a tournament at Tarleton Team Camp this weekend. The Honeybees outscored Spearman JV by seven over the final 10 minutes to win 31-25 in the championship match Saturday at Wisdom Volleyball Gym, after blowing out Sanford Fritch JV in the Tarleton Recreation Center, earlier that afternoon. The Bees reached the championship bracket by winning all their pool games on Friday.
