Cody Michael Mitcham, born December 27, 1990 to parents Craig Stroud and Cheryl Mitcham in Clifton, Texas, passed away July 4, 2017. Cody was also known as CoCoa, loved the river, the lake, music, video games and his family. After graduating Hico High School Cody join the National Guard and work at the Golden Oaks Feed Mill in DeLeon, Texas. Preceding Cody in death are father Craig Stroud, and uncle Jay Stroud. Cody is survived by wife Renee Leah Mitcham, step sons Dillion Lee Wells, Virgil Aurthur Wells, grandma Clara Turner, mother Cheryl Mitcham, sisters, Shelly Gerth and husband Raymond, Alice Whitecotten and husband Frank, Lacey Mitcham, uncles, Brian Stroud, Mark Stroud, niece Payge Geerth, nephews, Zayne Bullard, Kyle Bullard, Franky Whitecotton. Also surviving Cody are Grandmother Marilyn Stroud and her husband Cotton, mother in-law Melody Davis, father in-law Jack Davis, sister in-law Amanda Wells, brother Clint Wells and Cousin Orry Stoud. Graveside services 10:00 am Wednesday July 12 at Carlton Cemetery.
