FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 10, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Gustine.

BURIAL: Energy Cemetery

VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. UNTIL 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the funeral home.

LUNCH: Lunch will be served at First Baptist Church in Gustine following the service.

MEMORIALS: If desired memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Jack Hungerford, born September 20, 1919 to Paul and Ethel Hungerford, passed away July 7, 2017, at the age of 97.

He was united in marriage to Louise Mansfield on March 14, 1942. During World War II, Jack served in the U.S. Army. He was sent to the South Pacific Islands and fought for 28 months. He was a farmer, carpenter and dairy farmer. Jack and Louise had five children: Peggy Northcutt, J.W. Hungerford, JoAnn Munguia, Derrel Hungerford, and Toni Burrow.

Jack is survived by his five children and their spouses, grandchildren and spouses, several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, four brothers and one sister, and many, many, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise; parents, Paul and Ethel Hungerford; granddaughter, Laura Childress, and by 8 brothers and sisters.
