She died peacefully on July 19, 2017 in Hico, Texas.
Dorothy graduated from Beeville, Texas High School and went on to earn a Bachelors and
Masters Degree from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas.
While in college, Dorothy was a Drum Majorette and member of the Javalena High Kickers
and chosen as Lantana Lady for the school.
As an elementary school teacher for over 30 years in several different school districts
she touched many children with her love and kindness.
She is survived by her four children, Belinda Warren of Lufkin, Vince Treadwell and wife
Stacey of Lufkin, Richard Reid and Donna Reid of Waco, and Rebecca Trimble and Wayne
Trimble of Hico.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her twin sister, Della Storms
an older sister Connie Reynolds husband Harold Reynolds and sister-in-law Betty Lindley.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Burt Lindley.
Service Information
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on July 22 at the Harvest Hills Funeral Home in Hico. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on July 23 at Cottonwood Baptist Church with burial to follow in Clairette Cemetery.
