ERATH COUNTY (August 5, 2017) – On Friday night, Doug Montgomery and Larry Joe Taylor hosted a fundraiser to help raise money for a talented, young, local musician named Shae Abshier to pay for the recording of his first cd release. The event was held at T-Birds Garage Pub at Melody Mountain Ranch. The event was an evening of some terrific live music which was kicked off by Shae Abshier. The following 4 musicians lent their talents to the cause by performing as well: Larry Joe Taylor, Davin James, Keith Sykes and Richard Leigh. The price of admission was “donation” and it appeared as though quite a bit of money was raised for this talented young man. Shae played most of, if not all, of the songs from his debut cd and it sounds as though the public is in for quite a treat.
