The Cowboy Capital gears up for Rodeo Heritage Week

ERATH COUNTY (September 12, 2017) – The Bruner Motors RAM Trucks Official Rodeo Heritage Week Kickoff Celebration will be held Saturday, September 16th at the Stephenville City Park from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Activities will include a 5K Run, Kickoff Parade, McCoy’s Mutton Bustin’ competition, Cooper’s Country Store Dummy Roping contest, pony rides, carriage rides, western vendor booths, food, music and more! The Kickoff Parade, sponsored by TXPAGES, will begin at 10:00 am at the City Park, wind around downtown and return to the City Park.

Parade entries and vendor booth applications are still being accepted!

Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo

The 48th Annual Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo presented by Twisted J will be held September 22-24 at Lone Star Arena. Friday and Saturday night performances will start at 7:00 pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm. Tickets are available at Capital Hatters, Chick Elms Grand Entry, First Financial Bank, Hay & Feed Ranch, Saddle Rags, TexasBank, Twisted J and Stephenville Chamber of Commerce.
