STEPHENVILLE — As Tarleton State University continues work to expand the campus and continue its growth into one of the premier NCAA Division II universities in Texas, there are changes in place to provide fans with the best possible experience during a home football game this season.

PREGAME CEREMONY
Part of Tarleton’s centennial celebration as founding member of The Texas A&M University System, the event begins at 6:40 p.m. inside the stadium just before the Purple and White takes on West Texas A&M at 7. President F. Dominic Dottavio, A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp, special guests and Tarleton officials will unveil a giant rendering of the completed project, followed by brief fireworks. When work is completed, the stadium will boast an improved press box, suites, entrances and ticket booths as well as premium seats with chair backs and enhanced concession facilities. Overall stadium seating increases to more than 9,000, and west side stands will be converted for home fans. State-of-the-art CoolPlay® turf was installed this summer and track-and-field surfaces will get updates as part of the renovation.

PARKING
The primary lot on the west side of the stadium, on Harbin Street, will now serve as a permit and paid lot only. Members of the Texan Club have spaces reserved inside the Harbin Street parking lot while the remainder of the spots will be sold for $10, as spots last. The Pavilion Parking Lot closest to the Texan Football Field House and the spaces in front of Traditions South will serve as Permit Parking only. All free parking areas are available on a first-come, first-serve basis throughout the campus. A complete map can be found here.

DRIVING ENTRANCES
As fans look to enter the facility on a game day, many roads will be different than they have in the past. Vehicles entering from Harbin Street will have three choices: Enter Texan Alley, Enter the Harbin Street Parking Lot ($10 or permit), or turn onto Sloan Street. Anyone driving eastbound on Sloan Street can find parking by turning onto St. Felix Street or by driving directly into the Wisdom Gym Parking Lot. (NOTE: The entrances into the Harbin Street Parking Lot from Sloan Street will be blocked off prior to game time. They will only be available for exit after the game.) A complete map can be found here.

TICKET WINDOWS
There will be four available ticket windows for fans with reserved or general admission tickets. All four of the Tarleton ticket areas will allow entrance with a reserved or general admission pass, while two of the entrances will serve as will call and comp-ticket entrances. The entrance on the south side of Memorial Stadium, closest to the Texan Football Field House, will serve as the Home Team Comp-Ticket Gate. The Ticket Booth on the east side, directly under the press box, will serve as the Visiting Team Comp-Ticket Booth. All ticket areas will open two hours before kickoff. A complete map can be found here.
