STEPHENVILLE (November 8, 2017) – On Saturday, Cornerstone Animal Hospital of Stephenville held an Open House so the public could learn more about what they have to offer. The event was well attended and included a bounce house, face-painting, tours, free hamburgers, first aid for the kids stuffed animals, as well as Hurricane Harvey Rescue Dog Adoptions.
Natalie Nance, of Cornerstone Animal Hospital, informed THE FLASH they actually started out with 29 dogs rescued from Hurricane Harvey. Two of the dogs actually ended up back with their original owners. Eighteen of the dogs ended up finding a permanent home at their foster homes. This left nine dogs available for adoption at Saturday’s event. Natalie said seven of the dogs were adopted and the other two have adoptions pending. Great job, Cornerstone staff!
