FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Gardens of Memory Cemetery

VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to service.

LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday at East Side Baptist Church of Comanche.

Harvey Floyd Bingham, 88, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Newnan, Georgia after a brief illness. He was born July 15, 1929 in Beattie (Comanche County), Texas and was the son of JK and Rosie (Smith) Bingham.

He grew up in Beattie and Sidney, Texas and married Shirley Jean Moore after moving to Odessa, Texas. They had three sons together. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War in Germany, working in transportation. Afterwards, he moved to Odessa where he worked for Bob’s Casing Crews in the West Texas oilfields for 36 years before retiring. He loved old country music, dominoes, vacationing in the mountains of Colorado, and fishing at Brady Lake in Central Texas.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Glenn Myron Bingham and wife Sue Ellen of Atlanta, Georgia, Bryan Douglas Bingham of Denton, Texas, and Randall Stuart Bingham and wife Elizabeth Renee of Frisco, Texas; two brothers, Morris Bingham and wife Patricia of Midland, Texas and Gene Bingham and wife Eldena of DeLeon, Texas; two sisters, Mary Belle Abbey of Comanche, Texas, and Sue Creek of Comanche, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Bingham Valentine of Boston, Massachusetts, Austen Glenn Bingham and wife Hannah of Carrollton, Georgia, Rachel Anne Bingham of Boston, Massachusetts, Abigail Marancia Bingham of Frisco, Texas, and his great-grandchild Phoebe Kate Bingham of Carrollton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, JK and Rosie (Smith) Bingham; two brothers, Weldon and Doyle Bingham; and a sister, Ann Lou Creek.
