STEPHENVILLE (February 12, 2018) — Stephenville extended its football season an extra month with four playoff wins, so what’s a two-day delay to its awards presentation?
SISD athletic department officials say. the banquet, originally scheduled for Monday at First Baptist Church Paradigm Building, has been pushed to Wednesday – Valentine’s Day – at the high school cafeteria. It still begins at 6 p.m.
The Yellow Jackets earned a bevy of all-district and all-state honors for which certificates will be presented, and coaches will also present the team awards voted on by the players.
Stephenville was 12-3, winning the Region I-4A Division I championship, going from four wins in 2016 to the final four in 2017.
