Carl David Mulloy has passed away on February 25, 2018. He was born in Dublin to his parents, Guy Handley Mulloy and Nellie Marie (Lusk) Mulloy. Carl was widowed by his first wife, Paula Jones in 2009. They raised three children together: David, Gary, Patricia.
Carl married Pat Mulloy in 2011. She passed away in 2016.
Carl worked as a warehouse supervisor for Saint Gobain Abrasives for thirty-three and a half years. He also served in the National Guard for five years. Carl was a member of the Highland Avenue Congregational Methodist Church. He volunteered for the Salvation Army in Comanche, coached Dublin children in summer league baseball and De Leon Little League. He was also involved with the Dublin & Cross Timbers Soccer Associations as a founding member in 1978. He became president of Dublin Little League and the Dublin Soccer Association. Carl also refereed many baseball and soccer games. He always enjoyed catching up with former players over the years.
Carl was preceded in death by his first and second wives, Nellie and Pat. Also preceding was his sister, Glenda Joiner.
He will be remembered by his children – David Mulloy of Dublin, Gary Mulloy of Burleson, and Patricia Mulloy-Vargas; his grandchildren – Jamey, Ashley, Cody, Grant, Madison, Jaxon, Hannah, Grayci, Emma, and Aiden; his brother and sister-in-law – Lawrence & Linda Mulloy of Houston; as well as many friends and relatives.
Memorials can be made to Highland Avenue Congregational Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
