A LOOK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton is coming off a 3-1 series win over LSC rival Cameron in a four-game, non-conference series in Stephenville.

REGIONAL, CONFERENCE HITTER OF THE WEEK
Francisco Rodriguez had arguably the best weekend by a Texan in program history as he hit .643 and broke or tied three single-game records while leading Tarleton to three wins over Cameron in Stephenville last weekend. His efforts earned him the Lone Star Conference and NCBWA Regional Hitter of the Week awards.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Hardin-Simmons played 24 games against each other from 1992 until 2012 and the Texans hold a 19-5 edge in the all-time series, including a 7-1 mark in Stephenville and an 8-4 advantage in Abilene. Tarleton has won six straight over the Cowboys since 2002 until the series came to a halt in 2012.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will officially begin Lone Star Conference action next weekend by welcoming Texas A&M-Kingsville to town for four games, beginning Friday at 3 p.m. That weekend will be the inaugural CFC Awareness Weekend at Tarleton State University. Saturday will feature opportunities to raise awareness and funds for CFC International and the games will be followed by a free concert by Courtney Patton.
