Faye Busby

Lauda Faye Busby, born June 4, 1926 in Erath County, Texas to parents J.W. and Jesse (Bolton) Coppedge, passed away April 16, 2019 in Hico, Texas. Lauda was known by Faye to friends, “Ditter “ to her sister and brothers and Granny by her grandchildren. Faye loved to read and could easily read a book every day. She loved her family, having them around and spending every moment with then even up until her passing. Faye attended Brantley-Draughn Business College in Ft. Worth and became a LVN. She later worked at the Hico Nursing Home as director of nurses for many years, finally working at Walmart as a food demonstrator.

Preceding Faye in death are her parents, husband, Vernon Everett Busby, brothers, James Coppedge, Gene Coppedge, Roy Coppedge.

Surviving Faye are seven children; Morris Lee Busby and wife Jeanie, Mary Frances McClammy and husband Bo, Verna Fay Jaggers and husband Tim, Mildred Lavern Tooley and husband Joe, Melba Jean Jackson and husband Billy, Paula R. Chick and husband Glen, and Norma Ruth Kahlich and husband Dave. Faye is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great great grandchildren and sister Yvonne Williams and husband Billy.
