William Lloyd Brinkman, age 71, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Comanche County, Texas

He was born on October 24, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Edward and Nellie (Reese) Brinkman.  He was a United States Army veteran.  On June 14, 1981, he was united in marriage to Jeania Kaye Bradford in McCamey, Texas.  She preceded him in death on February 6, 2018.  William was a wonderful person, who was always there to lend a hand when needed.  He was the best dad anyone could have.  He was a devoted husband and father and an awesome grandfather and one of his greatest joys was spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.  William was a truck driver and, in his “spare” time, he liked to play golf and chess.  He was a member of Hasse Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Cross and husband John of Popular Bluff Missouri and Jennifer Campbell and husband John of Hasse; son, James Thomas and wife LaQuita of Midland; brothers, Robert Brinkman and wife Rita of Boys Ranch, and George Brinkman and wife Paula of St. Louis, Missouri; numerous grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Nellie Brinkman; and sister, Margret Hale.
