ERATH COUNTY (May 5, 2018) – On Saturday, dozens gathered at the Hunewell Ranch in Erath County for the annual Cowboy Capital MS Trail Ride.
The largest donator raised $3,000.
Oldest rider was a 78-year-old lady.
Youngest rider was an 11-year-old young boy.
66 riders in all, plus lots of volunteers.
Cowboy Church Erath Co. provided a great chuck wagon breakfast and beef kabobs on Friday night for the overnight campers
Knights of Pythias provided BBQ brisket and sausage with all the fixings.
To go along with the riders, there were 9 runners that ran in the 5k that was also held at the Hunewell Ranch that same morning. Nearly $4,500 was raised on silent and live auction items and the entire event netted just under $15,000.
