WEST, JAMES CLIFFORD (Jim) was welcomed home by his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on June 1, 2018. He was born on February 28, 1944, to Clifford Green West and Lydia Shimp West in Monohans, TX. He graduated from Sands High School. Jim was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He married Sherry Kay Napper on April 11, 1964. They had one son, James Matthew in 1967.  After marriage, Jim and Sherry lived in Odessa, TX, where Jim worked for PPG and Alexander Company. In 1976, Jim moved the family to Dublin, TX. Jim owned the JCW Company dairy and milked approximately 125 cows. After selling the dairy, he worked as a custom hay baler. Jim was a Renaissance man. He could do anything with his hands from home building and repair, to plumbing, electrical, welding, mechanical repair, brick masonry, and gardening. He taught himself to play the guitar and banjo. He would often entertain friends and family by playing and singing. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, in Stephenville, TX. He enjoyed wood carving and building and flying radio-controlled model airplanes as hobbies. He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Bernice Coates, Esther Davis, and Pat Hodges. He is survived by his brother, George West of Carrollton, Texas, son Matthew, daughter-in-law Rebecca of Carrollton, Texas, and grandsons – Daniel of Carrollton, Texas and Ryan Landrum with U. S. Air Force stationed in Korea.
