Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 Friday, June 8, 2018 at Lower Greens Creek in Erath County with Jimmy Holleman officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 11:00 am before the service at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Blondie was born on September 21, 1948 in Mineral Wells to the late Birch and Clara Evelyn Peach Wilfong. She was a graduate of Mineral Wells High School and attended Tarleton State University. Blondie worked for many years at the Stephenville Empire-Tribune and retired from Walco International after 18 years of service. She has resided in the Erath County area most of her life attending the Double N Cowboy Church. Blondie married Poncho Ambriz on February 27, 1984 in Granbury.
Survivors include her husband, Poncho of Stephenville; son, Mike Wilfong and wife Jodie of Stephenville; grandsons, Jake, Logan, and Austin Wilfong of Stephenville; sister, Jo Buckaloo and husband Johnny of Rio Vista; brothers, Bob Wilfong and wife Melanie of Aquilla and Harry Wilfong and wife Judy of Malakoff; and many nieces, and nephews.
She was also preceded by a brother, Bud Wilfong.
