Seeing a Yellow Jacket in a football helmet is much like seeing the first cardinal of the spring because you know the seasons are about to change. Come 7 AM Monday morning the first glimpse of fall will be in the air as Stephenville football practice (two-a-days) gets underway.
Family and fans are welcome to attend and form a victory lane for players to run through and of course, are encouraged to bring along the cans. If you’ve never attended a first Jacket practice it’s might be best described along the energy lines of a mixture of the WWE and the NFL wrapped up Stephenville style.
The Jackets will start at 7 AM each day next week through Friday and then will have a media/picture day Saturday followed by an intrasquad scrimmage.
