No cows are expected to be tipped

Road Side America and Texas Escapes might want to update their pictures of Moo-La the cow after she gets a bath and polish Monday courtesy of Stephenville firefighter Bryson Kanady.
Moo-La has been on her perch since 1972 as a representative of the importance of the local dairy industry to Stephenville and Erath County and she has become a bit of conversation piece as well as an attraction.

She’s also had a long time to gather dust and soot from passing vehicles and Kanady plans to put a new shine on the old girl complete with high-quality wax for weather protection.
Washing cows aren’t unique locally, but considering this cow is 12 feet up in the air there will be a few challenges. Then again this isn’t a cow that will step on your toes or kick you when she’s upset.
If you’d like to check it out the washing is scheduled to get started at 9 AM Monday.
