J. F. ‘Jeff’ Mann, 90 of Huckabay, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Stephenville.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 21st at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, with Michael Orsini officiating. Burial will follow at Huckabay Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Jeff was born on May 10, 1928 in Mingus to the late Dewey and Lily Stewart Mann. He married Leota Faye Carr on July 16, 1949 in Strawn. Leota preceded him in death on June 11, 2005. Jeff worked at Featherlite Plant in Ranger before becoming a dairy farmer for 30+ years in Huckabay. He was a life long resident of Erath County.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Cindy Norcross of Huckabay; grandchildren all of Huckabay, Chad and wife Amber Hale, Lana Pike, Mindy and husband Chance Ensminger, and Jeffrey Norcross; great grandchildren, Braydan, Carolyn, Heather, Emily, Caden, Christopher and his wife Megan, and Destiny; great great grand daughter, Remmington Rose; brother, Arthur Wayne Mann of Wickett, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Peggy Camfield of Mingus.
Besides his parents, and wife, Leota; Jeff was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Greenway; grandson, Toby Hale; and by seven brothers, and three sisters.
