Rabb re-sets school passing record in 57-36 win over Angelo State
Senior Layton Rabb eclipsed his own school record throwing for 467 yards and five touchdowns to lead No. 7-ranked Midwestern State to a 57-36 win over Angelo State Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.

Tarleton cruises past UTPB to move to 3-0
Tarleton Football dominated the first half and coasted to a 35-13 win over UT Permian Basin on Saturday at Memorial Stadium for Family Weekend.
The Texans improved to 3-0 overall and a Lone Star Conference-leading 2-0 league record. It’s the first time since 2013 that the Texans are 3-0 to start a season. Through three games, the Texans are outscoring opponents 41-11 per game.

No. 1 Lions see early lead slip away in 23-13 loss to No. 22 CSU-Pueblo
The top-ranked Texas A&M University-Commerce football team held an early lead, but fell victim to turnovers in a 23-13 loss to No. 22 Colorado State University-Pueblo at Ernest Hawkins Field at Memorial Stadium on Saturday evening.
With the loss, the Lions fall to 3-1 on the season, while CSU-Pueblo also has a 3-1 season mark. The defeat snaps a 13-game winning streak for A&M-Commerce.
Buffs Defeat Western New Mexico on Saturday Afternoon, 27-17
The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M picked up their first Lone Star Conference win of the season on Saturday against Western New Mexico in Silver City, N.M. The Buffs scored a defensive touchdown for the second time this season in the 27-17 victory.


Defense and Ground Game Pushes Hounds Past Javelinas
Eastern New Mexico football went on the road and collected their first victory of the season in dominant fashion over Texas A&M-Kingsville by a final score of 31-14.
The Hounds victory in Kingsville is just the second time in program history that Eastern New Mexico football has defeated the Javelinas on their home turf. Eastern outscored the Javelinas 17-to-7 in the second half of play and limited Kingsville to just 229 total yards on 65 plays for the game.
