
Preceding Cotton in death were his parents, Velma Ivy Beesinger and Houston Eli Austin Stockstill, nephew Mark Austin Stockstill, sister JoAnn Risinger, and brother Jackson Edgar Stockstill.
Cotton married the love of his life, Linda Lee Cavitt on July 5, 1958, they had three daughters, Cynthia Anderson, of Pryor, Oklahoma, Melanie Black of Hico, Texas and Melissa Koonsman of Hico, Texas. Also surviving Cotton are grandchildren, Bobby Paul Anderson, Crystal Anderson, Teri Wood, Zack Wood, Tanner Cope, Cody Black, four great grandchildren including, Maddison Jean Wood and Reagan Jean Cope, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service Information
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, October 12, at the Harvest Hills Funeral Home, located at 118 Second Street in Hico. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM in the Hico Church of Christ, located at 301 Pecan Street in Hico, with burial to follow in the Black Family Cemetery.
