Stephenville ISD is having a Project Graduation Fundraiser. They are having a Luxury Sheet Sale today and tomorrow at the Arts, Crafts and Gift Show at the Stephenville City Park.

The sheets are 1,500 thread count. They are complete sets that do not wrinkle, shrink or fade and they have deep pockets as well.

There are 12 colors available for the sheets: white, cream, gold, taupe, brown, sage, cranberry, light blue, navy silver, gray, lavender and purple.

Twin sheets are $30, full is $35, King and California King is $45 and a Split King is $55. Extra pillowcases are two for $12.

Project Graduation was created by parents to give seniors a safe, fun night together after they graduate.

“[Project Graduation is] the night after graduation for the seniors,” said Chayla Barns, the president of Project Graduation. “We raise money all year and it was basically created in the 90s. It’s like a safe, alcohol and drug-free night for the kids after they graduate to spend one last night together. We raise money for them to have prizes and we try to encourage them to come for one last event together after graduation.”

Some of the seniors are at every concession stand working to raise money for Project Graduation and prizes as well.

The prizes coincide with how much work the student does, what they sell, how many fundraisers they work at and how many points they get and the points will coincide with their prizes.

Their goal is to raise $40,000.

For the seniors’ last night of fun, they have chosen to go to PrimeTime in Abilene.

“PrimeTime in Abilene [has] go-karts, putt-putt golf, batting cages, bowling, laser tag, so we take them there, they do fun stuff all night long, and then we bring the, back the next morning, feed them breakfast and then they get their prizes, and then they go home and they won’t see each other again until their 10-year reunion,” Barns said.

Barns encourages everyone to come out and take a look at their sheet sale.

“I hear that it’s an amazing product and more than anything, it’s benefitting a great cause to make sure our kids are safe the night of graduation and that they’re able to enjoy one last time making memories together as the class of 2019,” Barns added.

Project Graduation accepts cash, checks, credit and debit cards.

The Luxury Sheet Sale continues tomorrow at 8 a.m.
