Walk-up soccer registration is today, registration closes January 10.

Walk-up registration for the Stephenville Soccer Association is toady from 6-8 p.m. at Hibbett Sports in Stephenville.

Today (Tuesday) is the only day for walk-up registration for Stephenville youth soccer at Hibbett Sports in the Bosque River Center and the final date of January 10 is fast approaching.

The Stephenville Soccer Association has announced it will not be accepting late registration — unless team sizes allow it. Parents can register online by visiting www.StephenvilleSoccer.org and following the “youth registration” link.

The following are tips from Amber Ferguson (SSA Registrar) on streamlining your child’s registration process. Included is an FAQ.

Please be sure to email your child’s birth certificate if this will be their first time registering with Stephenville Soccer Association. Just a reminder SSA issues uniforms in the fall to all players to be used during the Fall & Spring seasons.

If you would like your child to stay on the same team, please put their team’s name in the “Team you last played on” blank. To be put back into the player pool, please make a note in the “Special requests” section.

We will not be accepting any late registration this season unless team sizes allow it.

**When does registration end? January 10th

**What happens if I miss the deadline? You will be put on a waitlist and if space is available your child will be placed on a team. Please email [email protected] to put on the waiting list. Late registrations are not guaranteed to go back on their current team. We have open registration early this season to avoid all the late registrations. We do charge a $25 late fee. And space is very limited.

**When will games start? U9 & Above will start March 2nd & U8 & Below will start March 16th

**When will I hear from our coach? About 2 weeks before the season starts.

**When will practice start? Two weeks before your first game.

**What do I do if I’m interested in coaching? Included a note on your registration saying you want to coach or email [email protected]. Coach Meeting will be held in mid-February.

**If I haven’t heard from my coach by March 1st what do I need to do? Please email Amber at [email protected] so we can get you in contact with your coach.

**If this is your child first time to play? Please email a copy of your birth certificate to [email protected] by February 10th.

All questions can be sent to [email protected]

Thank you

Amber Ferguson
