Dublin’s Jared Ricks totals 1,405 at Stephenville Invitational Powerlifting Meet

Stephenville's Esmeralda Alonso turns on the power as she dead lifts at the Stephenville Invitational Powerlifting Meet Saturday.

The Honeybees and Yellow Jackets powerlifting teams both laid claims to third-place finishes at Stephenville Invitational Powerlifting Meet held Saturday in front of a packed house at Gandy Gym.

There were several area lifters who recorded first place individual finishes with none better than Dublin Jared Ricks who totaled out at 1,405 pounds in the 275-weight class. Lingleville’s Stephen Fritz claimed first in the 148-class with a 1,085 total.

On the girls’ side Hico Cidney Morgan lifted 850 pounds for first in the 181-class while Stephenville’s Jessica Ebeling’s 945 total was first in the 198-class. Below is a listing of team and area individual lift totals.
