Graham’s shot in the fifth highlighted a great day at the plate for several players as Daniel Luna helped his efforts on the mound with a double and Gabe Moore and Cody Storrs both stroked deep stand-up triples.
Storrs, Graham, Luna, and Trevor Easter had two hits each. Graham and Trace Morrison shared the RBI lead with two while Tyeler Reed, Gabe Moore and Luna all drove in a run.
Luna got the start for the Jackets and threw 58 pitches over four innings. His 39 thrown strikes mowed down four batters as he gave up three hits and no earned runs.
Kendall Storrs rolled in for two innings of relief and threw 13 strikes and didn’t allow a hot as he faced the minimum six batters. Caleb Smith closed the contest striking out one batter.
The Jackets travel to Kennedale for a 1:30 p.m. game Saturday and return home March 22 for a 7:30 p.m. game against Decatur.
