Nowak nabs two golds at Stephenville Optimist Relays

Senior Krece Nowak leaped into first place in both the long and triple jumps to lead a bevy of Stephenville Yellow Jackets and Honeybees that took gold at the Optimist Relays at Lem Brock Field Thursday.

Stephenville had a sweep in the girls’ high jump as freshman Landry Withers took first with a leap of 5-2 while sophomore Alee McClendon was second with same mark but more misses. Allie Decker was third with a jump of 5-0.
The Honeybees 4X200 meter relay team of Kali Bramlett, McClendon, Livi Leinhouser and Chloe Goodman ran an impressive 1:48.89 for a first place. Here is a complete list of results.
