A former Stephenville youth minister minister has been found guilty on seven different counts of possessing child pornography and will be spending the next 20 years behind bars.

Timothy Travis Simon, 34, was initially arrested on a single charge but later had six additional charges lodged against him. He was sentenced to an additional 20 years on the additional charges.

He was arrested in November of 2017 and posted a bond of $15,000.
After his phone was seized by police, the investigators found images of naked boys, between the ages of 10 and fourteen years old, touching each other in a sexual manner. Simon used an app on his phone called WhatsApp to share the pictures with others and had been doing so since August 2017.
