Stephenville got back on track after losing a pair of games with an 11-3 win over Snyder Monday as Mason Castleberry tossed six innings and allowed two earned runs.
Castleberry scattered seven hits while striking out four. Daniel Luna came in for an inning of relief and faced three batters and struck out two of them.
Stephenville will probably drop in the next Class 4-A poll where they currently set 9th. At 14-4 on the year, the Yellow Jackets solo focus at this point is winning the District 7-4A title where they have the best overall record but are 1-1 in league play.
Against Snyder, the Jackets’ bats came to life as Stephenville collected 11 hits including three from Derek Gifford and two each by Tyeler Reed and Gabe Moore. Moore slammed a triple and a double to drive in a game-high 4 RBI.
