Trey Adams, 31, of Stephenville, died Monday, April 15, 2019 in Fort Worth.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 19th, at First United Methodist Church in Stephenville with Howard Martin officiating. Visitation will be 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Trey was born on March 24, 1988 in Fort Worth. He attended public school in Stephenville, and graduated from Stephenville High School in 2006. Trey attended Texas Tech University, and was a member of their Kappa Sigma Fraternity; he later attended West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, and received his Bachelor’s degree in Ag Finance. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, loved to cook for his family, and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Adams of Stephenville; sisters, Lauren and husband Brandon Saxon of Bluff Dale, Kristy and husband Rett Everett of Fort Worth; grandparents, Theo Coffee of Stephenville and L. E. ‘Shorty’ and Sue Adams of Stephenville; nephews and nieces, Tristian, Harper, Jessie, and Tanner Saxon; Graham and Hudson Everett; and his loyal dog, Patton.

The Adam’s family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to First United Methodist Church, or to the Erath County Humane Society.

  1. Phyllis…you are to be commended for raising 3 such beautiful and precious children. Today as I sat there at Trey’s funeral, and listened to Kristy and Lauren eulogize their sweet brother, I couldn’t help but think, that Phyllis Coffee Adams did good! I am so sorry that I didn’t get to speak to you and your sweet momma personally, but, I hope you both know how sorry I am about your grave loss and also how much I love you both. And if either of you ever need anything at all, please feel free to contact me and I’ll come running! That’s a promise you can count on honey!
