The “Stop the Silence” event was held last week at the Cowboy Capital Plaza in downtown Stephenville. The event’s purpose is to raise awareness for child abuse, sexual assault, and crime victim rights. Those in attendance were able to hear statistics, stories from survivors, and readings from the great Stephenville High School Theatre kids.
