Texans return home to host No. 2 Angelo State for a four-game series

THE GAMES
Tarleton Baseball will host No. 2 Angelo State for a four-game series beginning Thursday, April 18 due to Easter Weekend on Sunday. The Texans will play one game against the Rams on Thursday at 3 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Friday at 1 p.m. and close out the series on Saturday at 1 p.m.

TICKET INFORMATION
Thursday’s game against the Rams is free admission. Tickets can be purchased at each venue on the day of the game. If available, direct links to online ticket sales can be found on the Tarleton Baseball schedule page at TarletonSports.com.

GAME DAY PROMOTION
On Friday, Tarleton Athletics will be serving free hot dogs and Dippin’ Dots will be available for purchase. Saturday will welcome the 1999 LSC South Division Champion Texan Baseball team back to town for a special pre-game ceremony.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton fell in a four-game series at No. 16 West Texas A&M. The Texans lost three of its four games by three runs or less against the nationally-ranked Buffs.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Angelo State have been playing since 2005 and the Rams hold the series lead at 48-25. The Texans are 13-17 at home against the Rams and have won two straight games in Stephenville.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will travel to Portales, New Mexico to take on Eastern New Mexico for a four-game series on April 26-28.
