A total of 21 Stephenville High School track and field athletes qualified for the Region 1 4-A track meet after the area meet in Springtown this week. Senior Chloe Goodman leads the way with four total qualifications.
Goodman qualified in the triple jump, 200-meter dash, 400-meter relay and the 800-meter relay. Kallie-Blake Bramlett was another multi-event qualifier as she will be advancing in the pole vault, 400 relays and 800 relays. Alee McClendon (100 hurdles & 800 relays) and Landri Withers (long jump& 400 relay) qualified for two events.
Krece Nowak was the only Yellow Jacket to qualify for multiple events and he will be advancing in the long and triple jumps.
Bringing home gold medals were Kyle Lindsey who topped 6-8 in the high jump, Kalli-Blake Bramlett who pole vaulted 11-0 and Aubreyanna Ziegler with a throw of 36-03.75 in the shot put.
