The following are details on the Celebrate Life Golf Tournament from Shelley Gilliland of the Erath County Relay for Life staff.
The tournament hosted 18 teams and raised $7,000 for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Erath County. First place went to Fibergrate, second to Citizens National Bank and third place went to the team from FMC.
“We’ve all been touched by those three words: ‘you have cancer’ and that’s why we gather to support this great cause,” Gilliland said on Saturday. “Thanks to all the sponsors and the community for joining together for yet another successful event.”
The Erath County Relay For Life will take place Friday, May 17, from 6 p.m. until – 12 midnight at the Tarleton Rec Sports Center.
