Flash Staff Report
Calling all local business owners! Want a great way to get your company’s name out in the Cowboy Capital of the World and support local cowboys and cowgirls? The Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo (September 27-29) which is coming up as part of Rodeo Heritage Week September 21-29.
Event organizers still have a few sponsorship spots available and time is running out to get one for your company or organization.
Sponsorship includes a feature spot on an arena sign, showcased in rodeo program, viewed on the big screen, recognized by rodeo announcer over the loudspeaker or even presented on a sponsor flag, not to mention recognition on the rodeo website and social media pages in front of a very large audience.
This rodeo is always a huge crowd draw because it means so much. This event is on the very last weekend of the PRCA’s regular season which means the money won in Stephenville can make or break a competitor’s chances of making the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. This rodeo is also one of the top, highest paying rodeos of the weekend. So the competition will be high, and that all but guarantees three nights of electric, high-energy performances that will pack the stands at the Lone Star Arena.
In addition, this is the 50th anniversary of the rodeo in Stephenville and who doesn’t want to be a part of that?
The Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo Association is a non profit organization that has awarded nearly $35,000 in college scholarships to Texas High School Rodeo Association members from 2015 through 2018, annually give $5,000 in scholarships to Tarleton State Rodeo, awarded a total of $64,000 to local military veterans through the American Patriot Program, supported the youth of Erath County by spending $25,000 in the Jr. Livestock Show of Erath County sale and annually sponsor the Miss Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo Royalty as they compete statewide.
This is a chance to be a part of a huge community event. And there are only a few more weeks to nail down your sponsorship spot. Contact the rodeo association by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or Sheila Williams at 254-485-1263 or James Andrea at 817-319-9229.
