Services for Cheryl Powers, 75, lumber salesman, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Harvey Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Svajda, and Rev. Johnny Hart, officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00–8:00 P.M. Friday, August 23, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Cheryl was born in Stephenville, Texas on February 6, 1944 to the late, Virgil and Loretta Powers. He married Darline Anderson on February 26, 1972, in Stephenville, Texas.
Cheryl was a member of the Harvey Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon Emeritus.
Cheryl was survived by his wife, Darline Powers, of Stephenville, Texas; sons, Dwaine Powers, of Stephenville, Texas, and Jared Powers, and wife, Stacy, of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister, Linda Tuggle, and husband Kenneth, of Stephenville, Texas; and two sisters-in-law, Linda Bundock, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Kathy Wilson, of Snyder, Texas; and two grandchildren, Jacob Powers, and Andy Powers, of Ft Worth, Texas.
