Wanda Boase Stephens, 87, of Stephenville, died Tuesday, October 29, 2019, in Stephenville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2nd, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Pete Pharis officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Wanda was born on April 19, 1932, in Erath County, to the late C. A. and Flossie Baker Boase. She married Marvin Sharp on January 26, 1951 in Pasadena, Texas. Marvin preceded her in death on August 6, 1952. Wanda married Darrell M. ‘Jack’ Stephens on July 4, 1953 in Stephenville. Jack preceded her in death on September 17, 1992. Wanda was very active in her church, Calvary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, and has lived most of her life in Stephenville. Wanda worked several years as an office administrator for the Erath County Extension Service.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Pam and husband Larry Sharp of Granbury; son, Darrell A. and wife Sharon Stephens of Weatherford; grandson, Kenny Pittman of Midlothian; great grandchildren, Caleigh and husband Mick Carver of Weatherford, Caleb Scott Pittman of Waxahachie; Hunter David Pittman and his fiancé Savannah Simmons of Weatherford, and Tanner Charles Pittman and wife Maci of Mansfield; great great grandchildren, Corraline Tate Carver and Brigham Cody Pittman; ‘almost’ daughter, Anita Christie and husband Randy; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents; and husbands, Marvin and Jack; Wanda was also preceded her death by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and husband James Mitchell, Oma Lee and husband Jack Perry, and Hazel and husband Wayland Hall.

The Stephens family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Calvary Baptist Church.
