Mary Ferguson, 79, passed away November 3, 2019 with family by her side in Carlton, Texas.
Mary, also known by most as MeMe; For those who were touched by her understood the quality of existence far exceeds the quality of time in which one lives. Her presence had always filled the room. She was loved and will be missed by so many.
Her interests included her family, cooking, and animals especially her dogs. She devoted her time and energy into caring for others and tending to her animals. She always loved having everyone over for the holidays. She would cook all day for any occasion.
Mary is survived by her husband, Harold Ferguson; Daughter, Lisa Musser; Son, Stacy and wife Raquel Rasor; Sister in law, Doris Sims; her grandchildren: Josh and his wife Jennifer Ward; Ashleigh and her husband Tom Cole; Brittany Rasor; Heather and her husband Darin Jones; Cory Rasor; Taylor Rasor; Scott Rasor; Eden Latham; her 14 great-grandchildren and her 2 great-great-grandchildren. Niece, Kathy Rountree and her husband Keith Kohutek; several great nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded by her parents James and Juanita Sims; son, Randy Ward; brothers JW Sims and Wilbert Sims.
Visitation, 2-3pm, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home. Graveside Services follow the visitation at 3pm, at Hico Cemetery with Pastor Dave Keith officiating.
